Golden Milk is a delicious and oh so nutritious drink that has an array of health benefits that can make a significant and noticeable change with your health if consumed habitually. Golden Milk is a traditional Indian drink that is normally made with Turmeric, although you can also incorporate ginger and cinnamon for an extra health boost and zing.

Improves Mood

Golden Milk not only tastes delicious but it also improves your mood. Studies show that not only can it improve your mood, but it also can support a healthy brain and cognitive function. Although my days start rather early (around 5am), on a personal note I enjoy consuming Golden Milk in the morning around 9 or 10am to get that extra brain boost for my day.

Boosts Immune System

Generally, many use Golden Milk to help aid in healing any forms of colds or illnesses they may develop throughout their lives and are looking for a natural way or option to feel better. There have been studies that the curcumin present in Turmeric contain antibacterial, antiviral, and anti fungal properties that can help individuals fight infections off much quicker. As I always teach, herbs in combination that target similar issues are always stronger and more effective than one single herb and so with that being said, Ginger and Cinnamon are also excellent additions to your Golden Milk. They are optional but excellent and many times have been used when consuming Golden Milk.

Excellent For the Liver

Although Milk Thistle has always been known as the Herb for the Liver, Turmeric also packs a powerful punch that is known to help aid the liver. Being that Turmeric antioxidant levels are known to be so powerful, studies show that it may help your liver from being damaged by toxins. This is excellent for individuals who may feel that they have hurt their liver from long term use of strong medicine or other health conditions that can or have caused damage the liver.
